HOW WE MET
It all started at a community event in Baltimore, where Jasmine Daniels and Marcus Taylor crossed paths. Jasmine was volunteering at the food table, and Marcus, ever the charmer, made his way over to ask for her recommendations. What began as a casual chat turned into a deep connection, and by the end of the night, we exchanged numbers and the rest, as they say, is history.
OUR ADVENTURES TOGETHER
From visiting Black cultural landmarks in Washington, D.C., to Sunday brunches in downtown Baltimore, our journey together has been filled with love, growth, and plenty of joy. Some of our favorite memories include spending afternoons at Lexington Market, strolling hand-in-hand along the Inner Harbor, and attending summer festivals at Druid Hill Park. Whether we’re enjoying live jazz at Keystone Korner or cheering on the Ravens, we’ve discovered that every moment is sweeter when we’re together.
THE PROPOSAL
Marcus planned the perfect proposal at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Surrounded by inspiring works of art and a few close friends hiding nearby, he dropped to one knee in front of Jasmine’s favorite exhibit, a powerful piece by a Black artist. Tears of joy flowed as Jasmine said yes, and the moment was filled with cheers and love from everyone there.
